Corps d` Elite Award

Squires of the Thomas E. Hinson Circle,

   The definition of Corp's d'Elite is "A body of picked troops; A group of the best people in a category."  In order to be eligible for the Columbian Squires Corp's d'Elite Award a Circle must have conducted and reported at least four activities in the program areas of Membership, Spiritual, Circle, and Service.  As your Chief Counselor I was filled with great pride and joy upon learning that the Squires of the Thomas E. Hinson Circle had been awarded with the Corp's d'Elite Award in their first full year as a Circle.  That brings me back to the definition of Corp's d'Elite.  Each one of you was picked by God before you were born.  There are no coincidences in life but only God instances.  The Squires of the Thomas E. Hinson Circle are a "body of picked troops."  In the past year the Squires of the Thomas E. Hinson Circle have shown themselves to be among the best Squires Circle in the state of North Carolina.  It is my great joy and honor to be your Chief Counselor.
